So let’s talk Instagram, shall we?

When it came out on the IPhone, I thought it was pretty gnarly. It definitely made the average user’s photos a tad better without having any sort of Photoshop skills. Also, not many people knew of its existence. Then shit came to Android, which was nice because I don’t think apps should be phone-exclusive, but now it’s like mobile throw up.

Now don’t get me wrong. I don’t think anyone has a right to judge based on content although a photography lesson or even a half-decent camera would be nice. My only issue is, I see Instagram as a time stamp of what is occurring in the user’s life like, “Hey, I’m taking a hike!” or “Look at the neato food I’m eating”  That’s fine.

My problem is the people who post like 10,000 pictures in one sitting of a night. Like dude, seriously. If you have that many pictures, you need to start an photo album on Facebook or something. And to add insult to injury, they link it to every social media outlet possible like the world doesn’t already see your shit enough. I’m a key believer in “a little says a lot” not “please bombard us with your mediocre, mundane lifestyle”

*I’m not angry, just fed up with having to scroll through 10 pages of the same person’s pictures and then seeing it on Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook. Sorry, brah. You’re not a celebrity or a business entity. Well definitely be unsubscribing to MANY people.
